Delta Air Lines Self-Service Check-In and Bag Drop

Airbiz recently worked with Delta Air Lines on a self-service check-in and bag drop study at JFK Terminal 4 in New York.  Delta Air Lines’ existing program for self-service  check-in is already a success with high utilization and an established look and feel across their network of airports. However the Delta team at JFK continues to explore methods of taking the passenger experience to the next level for their next phase of expansion, with the possibility of the introduction of self-service baggage drop for their passengers. 

Working with Delta’s Corporate Real Estate team, Airbiz explored economy and Sky Priority passenger flows from curb to the screening area, customer service areas and kiosk and bag drop configurations at the Delta area within the Terminal 4 check-in hall.
