Ken Conway is an accomplished international aviation environmental professional with extensive airport planning and development experience in Australia, Africa, Asia and Europe. Ken has an outstanding track record in leading project teams, undertaking Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and environmental management studies, developing innovative performance-driven ‘green airport’ and sustainable design strategies, as well as engaging with airports at operational and Board-levels. He has also successfully conducted aeronautical safeguarding studies, is an active community advocate and stakeholder participant, and has obtained permits for a wide range of major airport capital investment programmes.
Since April 2013, Ken has been an active member of the ACI-Europe Environmental Strategy Committee which meets every six months in a “think-tank” of 40 European Airport Environment Managers’ to knowledge share, shape future policy direction and harmonise day-to-day operating practices.
