Ken Conway is an accomplished international aviation professional with more than 20 years’ experience in airport planning and development throughout Australia, Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. With an outstanding track record in project leadership and delivery, Ken has managed small clusters of subject matter experts through to multidisciplinary teams of up to 80 professionals on projects of varying size and complexity. Ken’s core competencies span the fields of aviation environmental planning, airport master planning, sustainability policy and strategy, green airport concept planning and sustainable design, strategic aircraft noise management, aircraft fuel burn and carbon analytics, climate change and natural hazard risk management, industry benchmarking, transaction advice and due diligence and aeronautical safeguarding. He is also highly experienced in consulting with regulators, industry groups, internal airport departments and business partners, airport executives and shareholders, as well as the public. Over his career, Ken has developed an international reputation for using foresight and innovation to shape performance-driven and evidence-based sustainability strategies at airports varying in size from <2M to >60M, including some of the world’s largest hubs such as London Heathrow, Hong Kong and Dubai International Airports.
Between 2013 and 2015, Ken actively served on the ACI-Europe Environmental Strategy Committee to share knowledge, shape future policy direction and to provide leading practice insight on specific issues facing the industry. Ken currently sits on the ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Environmental Committee.
