Check-In Strategy

Genève Aéroport wanted to increase capacity and enhance the customer experience with an updated check-in strategy.  Our team developed an innovative concept featuring a smart system of self-service kiosks and bag drops which effectively eliminated queues at check-in.

The concept was flexible to accommodate a variety of airline types, from low-cost to premium long-haul carriers.

The final strategy was also aligned with other key terminal processors being transformed simultaneously, such as a new baggage logistics centre and the T1 Boosted project, which added two new security lines.

The project included 3D fly-throughs and visualisations, which were used by the airport to demonstrate the new passenger process and check-in hall concepts to key stakeholders.
