Sustainability Charter

Relationships First – Join us on our Sustainability Journey

At Airbiz, we have always stood for high-quality, ethical business practices where we put relationships first.

We organize our internal Airbiz sustainability activities into Environmental, People, Social and Governance categories. This ensures we are holistic in our approach to the future needs of the business and our people.

We set long-term 2040 Goals for the business that are aligned with the Net Zero Carbon vision of the aviation industry, and are also inspired by the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development goals.

Environmental

We take responsibility and protect nature. Being in the aviation industry, emissions and energy use are the highest priority areas that guide our planning. Our focus is also on waste management, and eco-conscious infrastructure.

Our AucklandNew Zealand office is in the first 6 Green Star building in New Zealand! It has green walls, passive heating and is naturally ventilated with 100% fresh air. Building emissions are offset

We commit to environmental protection – Tristan, Vincent, Devin, Steven and Karl volunteer to remove invasive species from Tasmanian Parks

People

The People category in Sustainability vision is all about the Airbiz team. We care about our people, and their growth, and we have an Equal opportunity policy and Diversity and Inclusion policy detailing our commitments. We are proud members of the Australian Community Employment Partnership and support integration and training for people with intellectual disabilities

Social

At Airbiz we believe all people should be treated with dignity and respect. They should be given independence, equality of opportunities and support for integration, regardless of abilities, gender, age, culture, ethnicity, skin color or sexual orientation.

It is important for us to give back to the communities where we work and live. Airbiz gives back to the community through employee donations and corporate donations, where charities are selected annually by employees.

Governance

We live and work by the rule that we treat others the way we want to be treated. Everyone in the business is individually responsible and empowered to make decisions and be ethically consistent.

At Airbiz a high quality of service, ethical practices, respect and clear communications are engrained in our business.

We categorize all of our corporate policies under the umbrella of our Sustainability Policy.
