Sustainability Charter

Join us on our Sustainability Journey.

At Airbiz, we put relationships first.  We are actively committed to ethical business practices, environmental sustainability, emissions reduction, and giving back to our communities.

We organise our internal sustainability activities into Environmental, People, Social and Governance categories.  This ensures that we are holistic in our approach to the future needs of the business and our people.

We have set a series of long-term goals to hit by 2040.  They are inspired by the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development goals, and also align with the aviation industry’s vision of net zero carbon.

Environmental

We recognise that we operate in a carbon-heavy industry.  Therefore, primary areas of focus for us are emissions reduction and energy efficiency. We are also committed to eco-conscious infrastructure and improving waste management.

Our AucklandNew Zealand office is in the first 6 Green Star building in New Zealand! It has green walls, passive heating and is naturally ventilated with 100% fresh air. All building emissions are offset.

In 2023, our team volunteered with the Magnetic Island Nature Care Association to remove invasive plant species on Horseshoe Bay Beach in Australia.

People

At Airbiz, our team is at the heart of everything we do.  We care about our people and their growth, and we support integration and training for everyone.  Our commitments are detailed in our Equal Opportunity and Diversity & Inclusion policies.  We are also proud members of the Australian Community Employment Partnership.

Social

At Airbiz we believe all people should be treated with dignity and respect. They should be given independence, equality of opportunities and support for integration, regardless of abilities, gender, age, culture, ethnicity, skin color or sexual orientation.

One of our core values is giving back to the communities in which we operate.  As a team, we give nearly 400 hours of volunteering annually.  We also give back through employee and corporate donations, where charities are nominated by employees.

At Airbiz, we take pride in delivering exceptional service, upholding ethical practices, fostering respect, and maintaining clear and effective communication.

We operate with the commitment to treating others as we would want to be treated. Our team members are responsible and empowered to make decisions that align with our ethical standards.

We categorize all of our corporate policies under the umbrella of our Sustainability Policy.
