Airbiz was engaged to deliver a comprehensive runway capacity assessment for Perth International Airport as part of the development of their new runway project (NRP). The study aimed to determine the timing of additional runway capacity based on forecast demand and establish the planning horizon for when the new runway should be constructed.

Airbiz utilised a range of analytical techniques including use of simulation modelling and propriety tools to deliver the capacity assessment. Outputs from the study are aimed at informing stakeholder engagement discussions between the airport and airlines.
