Kate Eby, AIA is a licensed architect and senior aviation planner. Her professional experience covers a range of disciplines and project types. Most notably, the redevelopment of Terminal B at LaGuardia Airport, where she developed a passion for aviation architecture.

As a pivotal team member on the winning bid for the LaGuardia Airport Redevelopment Project, the largest P3 design-build project in the United States, Kate has overseen the project from concept design through to construction administration. During the initial design competition for Terminal B, Kate worked to develop the construction phasing strategy that enabled the airport to remain fully operational during construction and unlock the winning design solution. Once the project was awarded, Kate’s project roles included building design, programming, airside planning, building systems coordination, construction phasing and enabling, as well as technical documentation for construction.

As a recognized leader in the aviation and transportation field from both Professional Women in Construction and Airport Business as a top 40 under 40, Kate brings a range of expertise to her current role as an aviation planner, where she thrives at discerning technical complexities with elegant design solutions.
